July 6 - July 18: Kathy and Al head for Germany and London for a European Star Wars convention called Celebration Europe! Check on the box for all the pics and information on their travels.
June 29 - Mom goes in for surgery on her other carotid artery to remove blockage. She does very well and is recovering nicely.
April 15 - the family reunites to celebrete the dedications for Julianna and Elizabeth at church

R2-KT attends the USC FIRST Robotics competition and entertains the kids. Afterwards, she poses for pics next to the new Post Office R2-D2 Mail Boxes. Pretty cool.
February 14 - I get up at midnight to find the hot water heater has ruptured! Brackish water flooded into the downstairs closet and bathroom. Yuck! $500 down the tubes and a stinky carpet I have to rip up and replace. Happy Valentine's Day!
February 10 - I spend my birthday taking R2-KT into the local children's hospital and visiting the sick kids. Had a great time with my friends in the 501st. You can see the pics by clicking on this picture:
February 2 - Allie enters the science fair with her project: "What Makes a Good Diaper?" Her project used a strict scientific method to test several factors of diaper dependability. The results would surprise you! It was a lot of fun and her presentation looked outstanding! Here are pics:
December 29 - Mom moves into Oak Leaf Village in Lexington, SC. She seems pretty happy there and is making friends.
December 27 - January 1: Albin is flown out to Pasadena, California by Lucasfilm to take part in the Rose Bowl Parade. 200 members of Albin's club, the 501st Legion Stormtroopers, are flown in
from 23 countries to take part. After 4 gruelling days of practice, the group marches in the 118th Rose Bowl Parade in top form. Albin gets to meet George Lucas and have a heart-to-heart conversation with him. Check out the pics on our imageevent site as well as these two of Al meeting George:

September 20: Surprise! Julianna Ella and Elizabeth Grace arrive at 7:45 pm. Julianna is 5 lbs 6 oz and 18 1/2" long. Elizabeth is 5 lbs 2 oz and 18 1/4" long. Check the babies page by clicking on the picture below for pics and info!
September 19: Doctors schedule Kathy's c-section for Tuesday, September 26 7:30 AM! Kathy is measuring 43 weeks - the babies are 5 and a half pounds each, and Kathy has only gained 32 pounds herself - very impressive. Mark your calendars - unless something happens between now and then, Elizabeth Grace and Julianna Ella make their grand appearance on Tuesday!
September 8: False alarm #2. Kathy starts having contractions again, we go to the ER only to be told they want her to reach 36 weeks until they can help her along. Otherwise, it's better for the babies to stay inside and avoid NICU time. Monday Kathy starts 34 weeks, so it's another 2 weeks until we hit 36. Scheduled c-section is October 6, but Kathy is hoping it's a lot sooner!
August 20: 3 hours out from Columbia, Kathy starts having contractions! We learn what it's like travelling 110 MPH down I-77, then spend 3 days in the hospital trying to keep the babies inside mommy. Kathy is now on bed rest, and Grandma has threatened to kick her butt if she gets up.
August 19: Emily returns to New York - big fat 24-hour round-trip in the van. Woo hoo! And 200 miles into the trip we have a blow-out (our second in 6 days!). Click on the picture below to see Al in action!
August 2: Albin's first day on the job. Security around the Governor instantly tightens.
July 15: Albin is offered a job with the SC Governor's Office running their computer network. Local boy does good!
July 8th: R2 Builders Group donated a complete, professonial-grade R2 unit to the family. The unit is
painted pink and named R2-KT in honor of Katie. What a wonderful gift! You can see more in the R2-KT section.
July 4th: Kathy, Albin, and Allie march in the Tega Cay Fourth of July parade with the Carolina Garrison.
June 7: Our brother Ola is admitted for surgery on his appendix. Big guy pulls through after 3 days of
whining like a girl. (just kidding, Ola!)
May 24th: Allie finishes her 5th season of soccer by scoring TWO goals in the final game!
May 1: Ultrasound images deliver the news: two girls! Albin officially has no Y chromosomes.
April 16: After 4 weeks of grueling work, Albin installs a pool in the backyard to keep Kathy cool in the
summer heat.
April 29: Our sister-in-law Stephanie Carte opens her new store, Bliss, in Asheville, NC!
Mar 2: Allie finishes cheerleading and gets a trophy!
Feb 21: Al checks into the ER after a pane of glass is dropped on his foot, slicing it open. Why couldn't
it have been the bad foot it dropped onto? Johnson luck prevails!
Feb 13: OB check verifies Kathy is pregant - Albin's boys are good!
Jan 29: Superbowl Sunday - Kathy and Albin go in for IVF to have two little blobs inserted.
Kathy's dad has nick-named them 'Hawk' and 'Steel' in honor of the day.
Jan 28: Mom moves in with Albin and Kathy.
Jan 3, 2006: Eric Johnson, patriarch of the Johnson family, passes away from a heart attack. We miss you, dad.
