July, 2007: Inspection of GERMANY
The German Garrison invited me, my wife, and fellow trooper Dave Anderson over to inspect the troops all along the western part of Germany, with forays into Holland, Belgium, and finally a trip into London with the Germans for the Celebration Europe convention. Jorge Aberle, the CO, Marc Lorch, Hubert Siebertz, and Marcus Rau each took turns showing us a side of Germany few get to see. The German Garrison blew us away both by their professionalism and organization on one hand, and their boundless enthusiasm and friendliness on another. Truly amazing people.
